Come join us for the month of January and get yourself moving into the new year!
The Whistler Health Care Foundation has joined forces with Back in Action Physiotherapy & Massage to host the Get Moving Challenge from January 1 – 31 2025. The challenge is to move 50 km (or new this year, 100 km) in any way that suits you (run, walk, snowshoe, swim, bike, roll, row, skate, x-country ski…) while raising money for the Physiotherapy Assistance Programs run by the WCSS. These programs assist locals with financial barriers to access essential rehab services to help them recover from injury so they can get back to work and play.
There are not 1, but 4 ways to win awesome prizes!
1. The first 50 registrants will be entered into the draw to win a $225 Rimrock gift card.
2. All participants will be entered into the draw for daily prizes and have access to all of the weekly special events.
3. There will be prizes for the best social media posts and/or videos on Instagram and Facebook that tag @whistlerhealthcarefoundation.
4. All participants who successfully complete the challenge to move 50 km (or 100 km!) will be entered into the grand prize draw. First place is a ski package, generously donated by Rossignol.
For those who are injured or unable to participate, “local movers” will be available to sponsor to do the moving for you. We are also taking monetary donations – look for the prompt on the registration page.
